That is a Huge help. But can I ask you this. I DO understand Java to a large extent, know about wrapper classes like Integer for int and so on. But I am not sure how a wrapper class would be written in terms of this scenario, needing to be meticulous about recycling Notes java objects. Do you mean rather like a utility class that would have all kinds of methods that could be called which each recylce some or another object ?
Would you possibly be able to post the code for a wrapper class like you are describing so I can see what you are doing/when/how ?
You would sure have the gratitude of many.... as you point out, other than writing a Java API that does not Actually Really conform to the Java spec, and having Balaban write a bunch of interesting yet not practical articles, IBM is really not doing anyone any favors with this.....
